MY APPROACH

  • EQUITABLE

Communication is not one-size-fits-all. I have experience reaching people who are off the grid, writing for audiences with varying literacy levels, and designing for individuals with visual impairments. My approach is to meet people where they are and ensure they have the information they need to do their work and feel connected to their community.

  • AUTHENTIC

Not everything can be shared all the time, but people can handle the truth when it’s communicated with timeliness and transparency. Even when the news is difficult, honest communication honors the dignity of our community. Authenticity builds trust—and we are all better for it.

  • TRUSTED

This is what you earn when equity and authenticity are honored. People begin to trust your communications as a reliable source of information—and may even open your emails (imagine!). But trust is fragile and easily broken. Internal communicators know this, which is why we stay on top of our game.
